The Chinese phone manufacturer has dubbed this phone, the 5G variant, the thinnest 5G smartphone in the world.
The two variants are now available in the Philippines and can be purchased online.

In this article, we are going to compare the phones in terms of specifications, and if it is worth buying the other one considering the prices and practicality.
Let's begin.
OS: Both the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite and Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G boot on Android 11 based MIUI 12.
DISPLAY. There is not much difference between the two except for the glass protection. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 as opposed to the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite Gorilla Glass 5. Both have a 6.5-inch AMOLED Display.
GPU/CPU. Both phones do have Octa-core processors. At the heart of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G is Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G and Adreno 642 GPU. Meanwhile Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G and Adreno 618 GPU. In this category, it is clear that the 5G variant has the upper edge.
MEMORY. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G has several variants of phones in terms of storage. The largest one has 256GB of storage. It also has a 128GB variant, its smallest variant of storage. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is limited to the 128GB variant being the largest storage and 64GB storage as the smallest one. In terms of RAM, each variant is equipped either with 6GB or 8GB.
CAMERA. Both models have similar triple main cameras of 64MP/8MP/5MP. The difference is observed on a selfie camera. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G has a better camera rated at 20MP compared to Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite which only has a 16MP camera.
PRICE. The price of these two phone models varies according to variant or specifications. For the purpose of comparison, we are going to use the same variant of the phone (128GB/8GB). Below is the pricing of the phones, subject to change based on the prevailing promos and offerings.

So far these are just the main differences between the two phones from Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi. In my opinion, both phones are good to use and will still perform the main purposes such as gaming and photography. Since 5G coverage is not yet implemented for the most part of the country even in major urban areas, the 4G variant is still a good option.
